I made mine with my brownie that I had made a day prior.. flattened in my hand into a disc and placed a Cadbury Creme Egg in the centre.. then wrapped the brownie around the Creme Egg and rolled into shape with my hands. I then dipped into my salted caramel sauce and then rolled into crushed Lotus Biscoff biscuit crumbs.
I have seen many variations using different chocolate eggs and biscuits as crumbs. Some people also use chocolate cake mixed with buttercream or ganache instead of brownie. 😊
Lessons learned.. definitely wear gloves and use one hand for dipping in sauce and the other for rolling in crumbs or you end up in a mess! 😄
