The Garden Baker…FYI:I’ve used pure lemon oil many times. It does evaporate, but just not as quickly as alcohol. And you need very little. And it doesn’t change the consistency of the sugar paste. Many decorators around the world use lemon oil instead of alcohol because of religious and other reasons. On the other hand water does take a long time to dry. And definitely too much water will affect sugar paste.
