I am missing some stars and stripes. :) I had made this same cake, but for a Naval promotion earlier in the summer and learned very quickly that it looked cluttered with the correct number of stars/stripes. I told this customer that the cake would most likely be missing a few of each, but she was fine with it because she realized that the cake is an artistic expression of what she envisioned.
