Well Sawsen, I’d say perhaps a better word to describe it is hefty…it’s heavy, but not so as I cannot pick it up. I have arthritis in my hands, so I would find a weight heavy rolling pin too difficult to lift. It has great ball bearings which really helps move it easily. I’ve picked up those marble rolling pins…..now that’s heavy!! Not for me.
Emily: I’d never buy one online. You have to pick it up, see how it feels. Judge the weight. There so individual. I bought mine at a great decorating supply store with a good guarantee that if I didn’t like it after a month of use, I could return it.
Kizzy Kakes: Truer words were never spoken. You have to shop around…watch for a sale. Bought mine on sale, but it was still pricey. Buts it’s paid for itself many times over.
