When we got an order from Liya to make a Mercedes Benz C class for her father’s Birthday two pair of eyes lit up bright at Cake Canvas household. The boys :) :) . They were so excited about the project, helping with finding the right images on the net, watching the car form its shape, critical inputs…what not!! To the extent that they had to be politely asked to leave me alone… As if they will listen!!

It is difficult to portray on fondant the majesty of a machine of glorious proportions like a Mercedes. This is my first attempt at emulating automotive poetry – definitely not the last; the boys have already booked Super car birthday cakes.
