A few weeks ago in Las Vegas, NV a local News station covered a story about the Goretorium’s (a “year-round” haunted house/bar/lounge) unfortunate demise where couples were left without a wedding venue. Lindsay & Brian’s story actually brought tears to my eyes; I felt crushed for them. The couple, from the UK, were set to arrive to the States for their first visit and marry here. I sent an email to the reporter, to see if he could connect me to the future Mr & Mrs; I knew I couldn’t get them a refund, but wanted to at least give them an aweSChome Schmake to celebrate with when they came to the states! I grew impatient (after 15 mins) & began schtalking the internet. Thank Goodness Lindsay TWEETED A LOT because that led me to FaceBook. So here’s the really schtalkerish part…I paid $1.06 to send a message to Lindsay’s “inbox” so I didn’t land in the “other” folder. I know, I know – #creeper HAHAHA but I wanted her to know LOADS of wedding peeps were ready to connect with her & Brian to create a wedding, free of charge" for them! It was magical, lovely, & perfectly schpooky! Congrats to MR n MRS MOON!!

I used Simi Cake and Confections isomalt to pull the sugar candle sticks and flames. And some of their molds for the “cake stand”.

The bottom tier is cake made to look like a cake stand (thanks to Wayne Steinkopf’s tutorial

The heart is made from RKT and Choco-Pan modelling chocolate.

Before I edible-oozed the cake, I used damask stencils and R.I. to make the beautiful designs on the mid tier and hand-piped the top tier.

Thanks for letting me share!!
