Perky Nana cake, layers of rich chocolate cake with a chocolate liquor brushed on, then layers of banana Italian meringue buttercream, topped with a poured fondant, buttercream swirls, flowers cut from perky nana bars and finished off with a little chocolate basket with banana lollies.

For those non-kiwis out there perky nanas are a NZ chocolate bar with chewy banana centre and chocolate coating.
