One of our favorite parts of going to Disneyland is to get autographs from our favorite characters—so why not bring that bit of magic home? For my son’s 6th birthday, this three-tier cake features a bottom tier that his friends and party guests autographed with edible ink markers. The cake (5/6/8") is a tender banana cake with caramel buttercream filling, finished with fondant and sprinkles and gumpaste balloons. (and because this was a personal cake i.e. ‘not sold’, there were no pesky Disney © issues.)
