This was a very last minute order done via email. The grooms sister sent over several photos of cakes they all liked but needed to create a design to cater for 500 guests. Mainly wanted a fusion of asian style and drama with vintage flower details. The bottom two tier design was a copy of the design of their invitations. Cake was a soft shell pink with Ivory piping then handpainted gold. The top tiers were more floral and Ivory as soft pink and lilac flowers were to be added. The final flowers and touches were done on site. It was one of the most remarkable black marquees with a full ceiling of hanging flowers and lights – Rockcliffe Hall Hotel – Darlington, England
