This cake was a special request made by my mum for one of her best friends.
I had a lovely time making flowers (not my specialty) and actually learned that, even though the process is long due to the drying times, it is most rewarding as the result has so much impact. I might be making more flowers in the future…

The cake is lovely. I think once you start making gumpaste flowers you become hooked. It is very addictive. There always seem to be another flower I want to try making.
