Did you know there were Oopsie mermaids? I didn’t. Until I was asked to do this cake. Apparently, they hang out with the Loopsie dolls in Loopsie land— the land of cuteness. This is an 8" white cake (well, fuscia and teal on the inside), covered w butter cream and fondant. The doll and all decorations are gum paste and fondant. I made sugar cookies to match just fun. I’m teaching myself how to ice. LOTS of trial and error. Very thankful for all of the very gracious folks who post tutorials and how-tos. I’ll do the same when I feel like I have something to share.
