Kids creation, caramel mud cake

I had an uprising in my household, my four adult kids decided it wasn’t fair that I always doing cakes for everyone else and that they wanted to have a go at it! Explicit orders that I wasn’t to interfere with the decorating of it! They wanted a caramel mud cake with caramel buttercream and gooey caramel on it and chocolate accents! Here is the end result! Didn’t look the best but wow sure does taste good! Lol! Have you ever tried piping buttercream on top of gooey caramel, well if you haven’t it just wants to slide! Haha :-o

Kath, sounds like you had a lot of fun with your family, we too have little ones wanting to help us make cakes aged two and a half and three. The cake sounds delicious :)

NooMoo teach them while their young, then you can sit back later and relax and watch them bring in the money for you two! Lol! The only problem is the mess they make & guess who gets to clean up?:-)
