I made this cake for my son Callum’s 9th birthday (he had two cakes) this was such a cool cake the kids loved it! I made chocolate fudge sheet cakes and built up the angry birds scene using chocolate covered biscuits and rice crispie treats, the TNT boxes were filled with marshmallow and lots of popping candy! The angry birds were all hand made from fondant. The boys loved firing them at their targets – who wouldn’t love destroying their own birthday cake with a sling shot! Lol! That was the only part that wasn’t edible! It was super cool and fantastic for any boys party! So simple to do too! The sand effect was created by crushed biscuits and popping candy too :)

Aww Thankyou. :) they seem to think anything is possible in cake form, so their ideas are very big! But it made sense to have an angry birds cake that was fully functioning! As well as one that we could actually put on the table! :) I think Callum was just chuffed he got to have two cakes on the day! I just hope he doesn’t expect that ever year! Lol! :)
