Fender Stratocaster Cake

First ever attempt at a carved Fender – fairly happy with how it turned out :) Tried to match a photo of the Birthday guy’s guitar. Unfortunately, they didn’t want it all that detailed – I’d really have loved to go all out on this one – it would have been so much fun!! But still, had a ball working on this cake! Lemon pound cake with vanilla buttercream crumb coat covered in fondant. All Fondant details as well. The silver accents I painted with a mixture of lemon flavoring and silver luster dust.
