This cake was made for a friend’s little boy’s first birthday. I hate modelling and I also hate ‘novelty’ cakes (more because it’s just not my style – I love seeing others’ novelty cakes, just no inclination to do them myself!), so this was my take on a jungle cake – I wanted to make it bold and beautiful without being too gimmicky xx

6" & 8" Chocolate Mud cakes, chocolate ganached and covered with fondant.

Airbrushed using Kroma colours red, orange, yellow, green and blue.

Lettering is the Martha Stewart Mould.
