A couple of months ago I decided to sign up for Icing Smiles www.icingsmiles.org and I was called to action pretty quickly after signing up. Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. Since I have a son, I thought that I would like to be able to bring a smile to a child who is impacted by a critical illness. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150422650827680.357799.138329607679&type=3
The cake was marble with chocolate chips, chocolate butter cream filling and decorated with fondant Sesame Street characters since they are Kaidence’s favorite.

What a great organization! Good for you for participating! This is the cutest cake and I was wondering if you’d be willing to share how you did the characters? They look so perfect!

Thanks Michelle. I have an on-line retail store where I sell edible fondant cake, cupcake and cookie toppers. So that’s how I did them. Don’t want to give away too much since it’s my bread and butter, ya know? :)
