Peter Rabbit Christening and Birthday cake

I made this cake for a little boy’s Shared Birthday and Christening party.
The Peter on the top was made with Fimo clay so that the mother had a keepsake. His party invitations were a deep grey and light blue with a cross pattern so we used this in the deisgn.
It had a 10” Sqaure vanilla and strawberry jam base, an 8” round chocolate mud cake in the middle and a 5” Vanilla and strawberry jam Square cake on top. Suppose I should have made a carrot cake!
It was the first time that I had used a sugar gun to create the fine lines and edging and I loved the finish it gave.
