How do you get such a rich red color? It’s beautiful!

Hi Debra:) To get the rich red colour I use the powdered red Chinese food colour ,which is available at the Asian grocery stores.
Mix the powder up with some water to make a thick paste then been it into your icing with a fair bit of corn flour and tylose. Let it sit over night and give it a good knead the next day :)
