A temari birthday cake for my mother

Made a temari cake inspired by the work of Makiko Searle. For the longest time I have memories of my mom mending things hence the thimble and pin cushion. The pin cushion I converted into a heart shape so put together with the text it reads “love you machi”. Also there is mistletoe since my mom is an almost christmas baby.
