This ivory coloured cake has hand piped detail, is trimmed with sugarveil lace and is finished with handmade sugar flowers and doves which have been delicately dusted with a subtle lilac colour.
The birdcage topper was handmade and is 100% edible. I had never done anything like this before and had no instructions so it was a case of trial and error. It took me almost 3 months and 4 failed attempts to master it and it almost cost me my sanity lol I’m rather proud of how it turned out.
