~Damask and Billowed Cake~

I made this cake for a Sweet 16 birthday. She wanted black and white. She wanted it damask and to be two-tier. She wanted it very sophisticated and not the typical birthday cake. So, I decided to try the billowing technique on the bottom tier. I think it turned out very pretty. The birthday girl loved it! That’s all that matters, right?! I hope you like it! :)

This is beautiful, I have been wanting to try to billowing technique and I have a damask wedding cake coming up! Maybe I will suggest that as a possible design ^.^ Thank you for the inspiration!

I have not stenciled yet! I just bought the damask stencils and I will start practicing with them when they arrive :) I would love to see your tutorials!
