Halloween Bat Cake

This was originally a baby shower cake but in the middle of working on it I got a call from the customer telling me the mother had gone into labor early! So she was going to use the cake as a birthday cake for her niece instead and wanted the design changed to a halloween theme (not a problem, I love halloween!). Unfortunately in the end she stiffed me on the cake (since this was before I had my deposit system in place, never again!). Anyway, the decorations are all fondant except for the buttercream border and even though I had a horrible experience with it, it is still one of my favorite cakes!
