Graduation Cake

A cake for a girls highschool graduation. The school colors are red, white, and blue but I tried to keep it from looking like a fourth of July cake.

i love this grad cake. how did you make the very top on the cap?

Thank you! The client didn’t want to pay extra to have the top of the cap completely edible so it is just a piece of cardboard cake board covered in fondant.
