I’d never even heard of Baby Yoda until my daughter requested this last Friday for her weekend birthday celebrations, she had wanted just the carved cake Yoda but as she search on the net for episodes of this cute little fella, I saw scenes where he was in a ‘capsule’ of sorts and thought this would be easier to create given the limited time frame.
His head had already been made out of ricecrispies and marshmallows at this stage so the scale was a little off to say the least but it all kind of worked in the end and I certainly had fun making it.
I learn’t you don’t have to spend all week making something for it to be enjoyed, I’m sure most people are not aware at all of the many hours that go into most of the detailed cakes.
One thing I really loved about this cake was being able to create an expression on a larger scale, I will certainly look to do this kind of cake again…of course using a different subject (I never like to duplicate anything 😁).
