We here in the province of Rome (Italy) are all right … or at least we are all healthy at home, which I think is the best today!
On 03/03/2020 my daughter, the eldest turned 18, was a LOT waiting for the day she would celebrate them, 2 months to organize her party.
The party was supposed to take place on the Saturday following his birthday, March 7 … but I’m not even telling you, on March 02 the whole school was immediately sent home to quarantine, which meant goodbye party.
I won’t hide from you that it has been a week of crying for her, to date looking around and seeing how much suffering this virus has caused, talking about that week seems to have focused on something superfluous, frivolous, but at that moment we believed, we hoped that the everything would have passed in one, maximum two weeks, and instead …
… instead, now, instead of leaving everything in suspense for better times, my daughter gave up her party, her dress packed and locked up in the closet, all the kit of the photo set for photos with friends closed in a box and stored in the cellar.
At home now, the sign of that much-dreamed party has remained only the fake cake with which she would have made the most important souvenir photo… before hiding her too I share with you the image of my work, made with the heart for my Princess Simona .
I hope that life will give you something bigger and that will make you remember this period as a moment in which life wanted to give you the strength to overcome in the future all the difficult events that will happen to you.
