Flower Pot Cake

I made this cake for my mother in law’s birthday,she loves flowers and pink is her favorite colour.
I made a vanilla giant cupcake and carved the to make a slight dome effect for the raised flowerbed.
In the centre was jam and buttercream,the soli is made from crushed oreo buscuits.
The pot is made out of terracota coloured fondant.
this was my first attempt at sugarpaste roses ! ( be gentle with me !)
I was very happy with the final result.
