This cake was influenced by 17th Century Chinese Porcelain, is painted with a peony flower design and has a sugar peony attached which gives it quite a vintage feel.

Thank you. I wanted to cry when I iced this for the 7th time in a row – the bottom tier is 7 inches high and it was such a humid day the fondant just kept tearing – but it got there in the end…
