Theme: Metallic

Owl has been a bird of fascination since time immemorial. A symbol of knowledge and wisdom. Inspired by “Owl of Athena” I have designed this metallic owl.
Since the theme for the collaboration was Metallic, I wanted to create a mechanical owl with metallic cogs and watch work belly. My creation is inspired by Greek Mythology – The Owl of Athena.

Techniques used : I have used modelling chocolate in order to create this structure cake. For this i have used shaping tools, clay modeling tools in order to create smooth edges and curves. Finishing has been given using edible metallic dust.
