Rachel’s Birthday Cake

A birthday cake for my daughter in law’s sisters surprise party tomorrow. Cake is a orange victoria sponge with orange curd filling. Covered in ganache and buttercream. Other than the gumpaste daisies I made for the top of the cake, I really didn’t have a design in mind. I knew I wanted something pretty and cheerful, just winged it.

This is stunning, June! I can see it so much better in these large pictures. I love your flowers, especially how they are growing on the sides.
