Gingerbread Castle Project: Poor Man’s Rich Castle

Ginger Bread castle has been on my wish list forever, but somehow, I could not gather enough courage and confidence to try it out. Had it not been for this collab, I would have never tried it out. It pushed me to come out of my comfort zone and try out something different, other than cakes. I picked up inspiration I picked up inspiration for my project from an award winning Ginger Bread house from Grove Park Inn, Asheville.

Though mine is no where as beautiful or detailed as the inspiration picture, but I am pretty happy about how it turned out. The assembling alone took more than 12 hours at a stretch, with just a lunch break. Feeling so proud of how this turned out.

The first is always special they say, and this will remain etched in my heart for a long long time. It’s almost like a baby that’s a part of me.
