This cake was done for my son, who loves magic. It is a rabbit who has gotten his paws on the magician’s wand and used it to escape thru the top of the hat. The cake is sort of a neopolitan, the three layers that composed the hat were cherry chip, chocolate, and funfetti with cherry frosting and chocolate frosting. The fondant was the Wilton brand rolled fondant. This was before I ventured to make my own fondant. The wand was made using a pirouette cookie wrapped in fondant. The rabbit is the top of an Easter bunny.
