This was the cake I made when I first attended a workshop. We were taught how to make commercial quality fondant from scratch, how to ganache a cake, stenciling, and introduction to gumpaste flowers (open peony). I never expected that I would pass with flying colors and earn the title “Class Valedictorian.”
