So… we were approached by a bride who is had a medieval theme wedding. She asked for a gold dragon to climb her wedding cake. When the dragon reached the top, we wanted a maiden designed to serve a piece of the actual cake to the dragon. So, we did it!

We used crafting wire to form the skeleton of the dragon. And molded fondant to form the figure over the wire. The wings were made from edible fabric.

The maiden was all fondant. We extruded her hair.
