While preparing my wedding cake for the Modern Wedding Cake Colaboration , I inspired from iconic hat designer Philip Treacy’s amazing hat design made for Royal Ascot.
In order to reflect the mirror efect on pyramits, I prepared edible swarovskis. To emphasize the shine of edible swarovskis I choosed black as the main colour. To provide a contrast to black, I used white fondant in one tier and decorated with triangle shaped wafer paper covered with edible glitter.
