The little village I live in had a celebration for Canada 150 and this is the cake and cupcakes that I donated to the event.

With a forecast for rain and not knowing how many people to expect, I went with simple for the cake. It is vanilla bean with vanilla bean icing. I cut the Canada 150 logo out of fondant and then placed red and white sixlets around the boarder of it. For the cupcakes I did red and white swirled buttercream and printed out Canada flags as toppers.
