My piece for My Bulgaria Collaboration. This project combines two of my biggest passions – architecture and archaeology. My goal was to connect with the spirit and traditions of our ancestors and Thracian tombs are the richest source of information and knowledge. They are magical places between life and death, combining the spiritual and material culture of the Thracians.
The first and second tiers represent two of the most remarkable Thracian tombs in Bulgaria – the tomb of Sveshtari and the Aleksandrovo tomb.
The top tier is a stylized object from the Valchitran golden treasure.
