I let my daughter design her own Communion cake! It ended up being a 3 tiered wedding cake. (don’t think so) But she had balloons going around a figure of herself which I LOVED. I had wanted to try out gelatin balloons for awhile so thought we’d give it a go. She helped me with every step (except for the figure – she was at a friend’s place) from the baking to the decorating.
Making the balloons was messy but fun. And they worked too! I had a backup plan in place just incase they didn’t work out for us. But they did!!
