Peony in bloom

An eggless vanilla cake covered in swiss meringue buttercream and edible sugar lace coated with edible bronze dust. Loved making this one as I got out of my comfort zone and made this cake. I’ve never tried sugar flowers nor edible sugar lace .Both being the first ,I wanted to treat myself with his creation of mine on my special day .

Supplies: tylose powder cornstarch corn syrup powdered sugar gumpaste vanilla sponge swiss meringue buttercream

Tools: sugar lace mat gumpaste tools spatula bench scraper
