This approach is not so right, I guess. Sorry, nothing personal. But what would you need a VPN server for? Especially if they told you already that this was not the best idea? I assume the traditional hosting you use is not secure because it is shared and there are too many other people on the same IP? For this vps usa servers will work perfectly, fast and without compromising your projects in any way.
