another cake and again I had no idea what I was doing! People seem to challenge me with the most difficult cakes to make sometimes! It is a lemon Madeira which took me all of one Sunday carving away to get the shape right. with the first layer of fondant and indentations for the eyes it looked like an alien! once dried I was able to paint the eyelashes with black paste to make it a lot more realistic. Another one I loved making.
