Tatty Teddy Baptism Cake

This was a 10 inch round chocolate mud cake topped with an enormous (well larger than usual) tatty teddy topper. The topper was made by carefully shaving a foam ball and a foam egg to characterize the shape of a teddy, then grey coloured fondant was added and scratched to create the fur. From start to finish the teddy topper took 9 hours to make. The client, and everyone at the event loved the cake, they way it looked and most importantly the way it tasted.
