Children's Sweet Box Cake

Taken from the idea of the adults chocolate box cake this was designed for children. A chocolate cake with 2 x layers sandwiched together with dark chocolate ganache. The edges were covered in chocolate ganache before the coloured white chocolate maypoles were added. Green and Blacks chocolate buttercream was placed on the top before a large portion of retro children’s sweets were added.

The fondant was pressed with letter blocks with the name of the little girl whose birthday it was. This cake then travelled all the way to France – and made it in one piece :)
