Lego Party

Cake by CocoJo posted 298 days ago 354 views 2 times favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites

I made this giant lego mini figure cake….the feet are a dummy (8” square), the shirt and head were chocolate mud cake, and for the arms I made rice crispy treats. I have never made them before, and was really happy with how light they were, so perfect for something like this. I did struggle with how lumpy they were…so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Very cool cake … you could try using a cake butter cream mix to smooth over the rice treats before the fondant … I have used just butter cream, however after recently smoothing a cake with a cake butter cream mix I think I will use it more often … I really liked the outcome J:~D
