Inspired by the Traditional Mexican Folk Art “Tree of Life”. Each skull represents a family member who has passed. Honoring God from who all life flows and how close our loved ones are to Him while not forgetting those of us left behind to mourn the loss. The candles light the way for our remembered “muertos” to return to us for a visit on November 1st and 2nd. Using Icing Images wafer paper, sugar skulls Satin Ice fondant and Choco Pan modeling chocolate, the candelabra is painted using luster dusts and edible paints sits on a small base of cake.
