Wheels are cupcakes covered in fondant.
Was not actually intended to look like Lightning McQueen, just a red sports car, but the windscreen was just crying out for a pair of eyes and the side needed a bit more detail…
Found out later that the birthday boy’s favourite toy red sports car is actually Lightning McQueen, but his parents thought it would be too much work to create him in cake so just asked for a red sports car!
