I made this wedding cake over a year ago, I never put it on as it reminded me of what a disaster I had with it. It collapsed in the car going across a bumpy wet field to a marque. I learned a lot that day about stacking cakes and transporting cakes. The whole bottom tier collapsed, the top 3 tiers were perfect. Luckily my two best friends are cake decorators and came to the rescue with a fake dummy as the bottom tier. 3 hours later the cake was salvaged and ended up looking as the picture. I actually think it looked better as we had to use some real flowers to fill gaps as some of my roses broke. I still have nightmares but I am a better and more cautious cake decorator for that awful experience.
