Welcome to the “Me, Myself and I” collaboration, an International Cake Collaboration celebrating Friendship Day through an incredible array of cakes! We were tasked with using an artist’s cake as inspiration for our very own unique piece. We truly hope you enjoy it and we invite you to share your friend’s cakes on the "Me, Myself and I " Facebook page.
With the peacock on Kim’s stunning cake representing love in the Indian culture and the precious stones representing protection; I really gravitated towards the idea of a dragon protecting a heart. I was truly inspired though by the metallic color scheme in the stones on her cake. It is made of modeling choclate and fondant with a homemade paint for the metallic finish. I hope you like it as much as I do!
