My Dad turned 75 today!!
The red and yellow celebrate his Spanish roots, and the bank symbolises that he has always and will always, be there for his family!!
First experience with gold leaf; omg need ALOT of practice :-) I think I had more in my hair than on the cake!! And for a change I decided to reverse the ruffles. First time for them too.
Cakes are red velvet, caramel white choc mud cake and strawberry white choc mud cake.

aww ty :-) I think I needed a larger brush and less moisture! But it certainly has a stunning effect.
