I made this cake for my gorgeous niece who LOVES all things ballet. I’ve seen loads of them online and found out afterwards that it’s originally a Debbie Brown design. Wish I had seen the original first! Never mind, my other complaint is how terribly the mauve photographed…it was actually a perfect match with the board colour but didn’t photograph that way at all :( Anyway, the birthday girl LOVED her :) ?

Thanks Becky, Sasha and Benni! Becky, I had seen lots of them online and thought they were so pretty and Ash would love it, so I made it and then a lovely cakey friend asked me if it was the Debbie Brown ballerina (before she had seen mine lol) so I went looking and there it was, hers is GORGEOUS! I wish I had seen it before I did mine. Nevermind, hopefully I’ll get to make it again. If you get a chance, have a look, it’s beautiful :)
