Izabella is the granddaughter of one of my oldest friends and I was honoured to be asked to make her first grandchild’s christening cake. Subtle pink and white were the colours and a special request for a bible, rosary and the odd teddy to be included. Once again I tried the ombre ruffle effect, only the second time Ive attempted this look on my cakes and I’m pleased with the overall result.
